Our team works with Istanbul and Ankara rental houses for camera, lighting, grip and sound, advises on openings and today's rates, and sets up with the cinematographer and gaffer on tech specs. Where pro or preferred kit must travel, we handle ATA Carnet records and short-term admission so gear clears Turkish Customs cleanly and is well accounted for on departure. We also plan power, power packs, transport and on-set support, factoring in the demands of remote locations in Cappadocia or along the coast where infrastructure is tight.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. Turkey's rental market is genuinely deep. The 'dizi' industry — which makes the country the world's second-largest TV-series exporter — sustains well-stocked rental houses carrying today's camera kits, lighting and grip kit, so shoots can often source most of a package locally at competitive lira-denominated rates. For imported kit, ATA Carnets and short-term admission through Turkish Customs are well-set up routes, and radio gear must respect range rules set by the BTK, the Information and Communication Technologies Authority. Where drones are part of the package, operations are covered by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (SHGM), with sign-ups needed. We plan around all of these so the gear is in place, legal and on budget.
